Send The Train

We're working so hard but it's never enough
Why does it have to be so damn tough?
Struggle every day just to get our pay
Next bill come and we give it all away

All I want is a place to raise my family
Grow my garden and live stress free
Feel the warm sun shining on my face
A place with rolling hills and open space

Oh Lord, send the train so we can climb on board
Oh Lord, Said we're ready to move forward

We don't hurt no man still we living so poor
While them live so nice off corruption and war
Time has come for the tables to turn
Don't want no blood money just the life we have earned

And I ask Jah why I work just so boss man can thrive
Toiling each day in this garden yet knowing its fruit is not mine
Then I realize this work has its purpose
The lessons I learn through this struggle to earn
Just prepare me for the day when I shall know my reward
And I give thanks oh lord
