Nightmare Wishes

so now it goes
all been heard before
silently waiting for your back to turn
a predator behind you
and it waits to pounce
smelling your blood as it starts to spill

you lie and stalk your only friends
only whispers linger in the end
nightmare wishes your dreams go inside
to the darkness where your nightmares hide

so i believe now
in your words of peace
even though you have a knife behind your back
glaring hypocrite
don't hide it from me
your face tells all even when you do not

a stabbing wound lingers in my back
from the knife you had hidden behind your back
endless body feel your nightmare wishes
only to find yourself betrayed
