Great Things

To God be the glory, great things he has done
So loved he the world that he gave us his son
Who yielded his life, an atonement for sin
And opened the life-gate that all may go in

To God be the glory for wisdom and grace
That chose us and made us the heirs of his name
He justified freely his daughters and sons
And gave us his spirit, the seal of his love

Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Through our savior Jesus Christ
He has raised us up to a glorious hope
Rejoice, you ransomed ones
Great things he has done

To God be the glory, he joined us with Christ
We share in his death and we’re hid in his life
We stand in his righteousness, never our own
And sit with him now on his heavenly throne
