Been some years, been a couple of heartbreaks
I went to the ocean to crash
I was approved your conditional muse
And maybe I got caught up in that

Now I'm a mess and I'm overcorrecting
Hung up in the fire and haze
The Sun is out and I can’t bring myself to
Open up the curtain today

I'm sunny in the making, habits don’t behave
Two steps in the right direction, one step back again

Once again climbing out of the chaos
Buried to my neck in the sand
