The Mission

La Mission

The Mission

Il y a un appel qui résonneThere's a call going out
À travers le pays dans chaque nationAcross the land in every nation
Un appel à ceux qui jurent fidélité à la croix du ChristA call to those who swear allegiance to the cross of Christ
Un appel à la vraie humilité, à vivre notre vie avec responsabilitéA call to true humility, to live our live responsibly
À approfondir notre dévotion à la croix à tout prixTo deepen our devotion to the cross at any price

Soyons donc sobres, avançant seulement dans l'EspritLet us then be sober, moving only in the Spirit
Comme des étrangers dans une terre hostileAs aliens and strangers in a hostile foreign land
Le message que nous proclamons est repentance et pardonThe message we're proclaiming is repentance and forgiveness
L'offre de salut à une race humaine en train de mourirThe offer of salvation to a dying race of man

Refrain :Chorus:
Aimer le Seigneur notre DieuTo love the Lord our God
Est le cœur de notre missionIs the heartbeat of our mission
La source d'où déborde notre serviceThe spring from which our service overflows
À travers la rueAcross the street
Ou autour du mondeOr around the world
La mission reste la mêmeThe mission's still the same
Proclamer et vivre la VéritéProclaim and live the Truth
Au nom de JésusIn Jesus' name

Comme une bougie consumée par la passion de la flammeAs a candle is consumed by the passion of the flame
Déversant la lumière sans réserve dans une pièce sombreSpilling light unsparingly throughout a darkened room
Brûlons de le connaître plus profondémentLet us burn to know Him deeper
Alors notre service flamboyantThen our service flaming bright
Rayonnera ses passionsWill radiate his passions
Et brillera d'une lumière sainteAnd blaze with holy light
