It Hurts to Know

Yesterday I felt an emptiness in my heart
With a black soul, sadness, and pain
With my soul shattered and my heart
Destroyed

The look, and memories not erased
A mental crisis and tears that touched my skin
Why do the scenes come back to my mind
From the past that I thought I had once overcome

Trying to forget again but alcohol isn't enough
To forget everything that follows and causes pain
I can't get over the losses of people I carry in my heart!

It hurts so much not to have been present
And not being able to say goodbye to those I have here in my mind
But they left, wherever they are
I carry them in my heart, say hi to grandpa up there in heaven

It hurts to know that you won't come back! Yeah!
They will meet in paradise
I trust that heaven exists and they are reunited
They won't lack anything if they think about it

How quickly time passes
And how sad life goes
When it's gone, there's no time for a goodbye
