Do you ever wonder why
Every nation had to die
Never telling why they rise and fall
There must be some troubled minds
Seeing what they've left behind
Different ages seemed to have it all
Has the answer been and gone
Or have we been fooled all along

While empires rise, an empire falls
The ancients build their perfect walls
No religion, and no remorse
There's no domain that can stay the course
A leader crowned, another killed
A leader fooled by power and skill
Domination, rule with lies
Gather all and point them to the skies

Years passing by, l will return some day
Don't ask me why, it has to be this way
Watch the skies

A life designed, a life to change
To see the world with knowledge gained
Distant places, have their day
To rise to power, then fade away
To hide the reasons, to hide the truth
A war declared to protect the proof
