Consequence of an overdose, out of body encounter
Take a trip to the depths as you hang within this daze
Words pour out, no meaning held
You speak but no one is listening
Cry for help, removed from aid as the condition worsens

Paradigm of ignorance, your fatal attraction
Luring in a victim now, distorting your reaction
Winding down from the high
Senses erode, endorphins die

Death in sight, lividity transpired
Hours pass but the minutes lag, inebriated journey
Paranoia rapes your mind as they strap you to a gurney
Body convulses in shock, unaware of what befalls you
Grip the threads wearing thin, the other side is waiting

Punished for your drug of choice, fate is in the system
Through your veins the poison flows, the world is now a schism
