Premeditated

he didn't set up the rhyme with meaningless words
as you predicted, or assumed
everything was calculated
every words had purpose
just not always on the surface
but you couldn't look below
life is fast when you're shallow
but for some of us it moves too slow

he has entire conversations with many different people
but they never leave his paper
there are books of lost intentions
and premeditated action
a prediction for your equal and opposite
how accurate
how frightening
how frightening
though the rhyme was not set up
and the words fell on your surface
the painting was so perfect
and now everybody knows
so shallow
so far below
and everybody knows
