Bis ich in Jesus, meinem Zufluchtsort, die Liebe wiederfandUntil in Jesus, my refuge, I found love again

Auf meinen Knien, im Dreck, erhob ich meine Stimme zum HimmelOn my knees, in the dirt, I raised my voice to the sky
In der Dunkelheit der Nacht spürte ich Seine treue AntwortIn the dark of night, I felt His faithful reply
Die Schlacht gehört nicht mir, der Sieg gehört GottThe battle isn’t mine, the victory belongs to God
Im Gebet fand ich die Kraft, die Er mir gabIn prayer, I found the strength He bestowed

Im Gebet erreicht mein Schrei den ThronIn prayer, my cry reaches the throne
In den Armen Jesu, mein Schild, mein FundamentIn the arms of Jesus, my shield, my cornerstone
