A Struggle to Stay Standing

I can see that life is hard for you.
Your hands are tattered and broken and your knuckles are bruised.
The skin on your knees has been scraped to the bone from days and nights beating fists on a wall that won't move.
You never thought that it would be this hard.
With weight on your shoulders that doesn't belong.
You carry this burden so heavy at times,
