Time Could Not Heal

Years have passed which seemed to me days
Time don't change and I'm still in a maze
Now I know for sure
The pain inside time could not heal
My words might help to cure
But words can't tell the way I feel

One thing yet can fill me with joy
Proud I am, I knew this boy
And though he rests in peace
He is here and not apart
As long as I breathe
He lives on within my heart

Restless questions
Why did he have to die?
What's the reason
Again I wonder why

Who decides on
Life or death
Far too soon he made
His last breath
Flashback memories
Course through my mind
Mourn the dearest one
I could ever find

But I know when all
Tears have dried
In the end we'll walk
Side by side
