It's a quarter till 11
When I get to King's Cross
Got my bags, got my books
Trying not to get lost

I see nine,
And there I see ten
9 3/4 quarters?
Where the hell is this train

10 minutes
Before I'm left behind
A family walks through the wall
In a single line

I take their lead

Hogwarts Express
Getting packed full of luggage and kids

I load my stuff
Then I grab a seat
A red head's playing
With a rat at his feet

We get to talking
Then he ask my name
I tell 'em
He looks at me like I'm insane

I lift my hair
And show him my scar
Then we ventured outside
Of the car

The kids were talking
And doing there own thing
Then suddenly they began to sing

We get to school
Separated from the rest
A witch shows up
In an emerald dress

She tells us
We have to take a test
To be sorted to our houses
Just like the rest

The ratty old hat on the stool

Moments later
It's put on my head
The school watches
To see where I land

It shouts
"Gryffindor!"
Applause breaks out
That turns into a roar

When it's done
Food filled out plates
I became tired from the food I ate

Wasn't long
Headed to our common room
Sat around talked with kids
About flying on a broom

Then it happened
