I Remember Sunnyside Circus

I see the spots and the dots and the circle of sand,
And the picture card people who sat with elastic band hands,
And the clown says his smile's kept under his bed,
I remember sunnyside circus,
I see the the horses and grandfathers candy floss eyes,
And the marizpan monkey jumps to the roof in surprise,
And the clown smiles, it will not rain in a while,
The gypsies, the sun, the band,
In whooleys wonderland,
Of cartwheel memory,
I see the elephants playing with tumbling bears,
And the chocolate children marching at pineapple pears,
And the clown falls inside on the circle he spraws,
I remember sunnyside circus.
