Un hermoso caballo blanco bajó al marA beautiful white horse came down to the sea
Y los niños subieron mientras él se arrodillaba en una rodillaAnd the children all climbed up as he knelt on one knee

Cabalgaron por los valles y sobre las colinasThey rode through the valleys and high over hills

Mientras estaban junto al lago verde, el agua besaba sus dedosAs they stood by the green lake water kissed their toes
Un bote en la distancia apareció de repenteA boat in the distance was suddenly there

En su abrigo de agujas romas, parecía muy amableIn his coat of blunt needles, he looked very kind

Su tripulación eran seis conejos con orejas blancas esponjosasHis crew were six rabbits with fluffy white ears
Y los niños los acariciaron y perdieron todos sus miedosAnd the children all stroked them and lost all their fears
Navegaron bajo el sol, a través del lago verdeThey sailed through the sunshine, across the green lake
Y bebieron limonada y comieron pastel de heladoAnd they drank lemonade and they ate ice-cream cake
Aterrizaron en una cueva oscura mientras el bote desaparecíaThey landed in a dark cave as the boat disappeared

Y conchas mágicas rosadas les dio a los niñosAnd magic pink seashells to the children he gave

Pero los niños estaban tan tristes, había llegado el momento de partirBut the children were so sad, the time had come to leave
Así que la gente les dijo adiós y les rogó que creyeranSo the people waved goodbye and begged them to believe
En las maravillas que habían visto en la isla del cieloOf the wonders they had seen in the island of the sky
Y los niños dijeron que sí y volaron lejosAnd the children said they would and away they did fly
A través de las nubes blancas de la eternidad hasta que pareciera para siempreThrough the white clouds of no time till forever it seems
Y los niños siguieron siendo niños y vivieron en sus sueñosAnd the children stayed children and they lived in their dreams
