I went
Through life
Three times
She said to me
As if I didn't already know

I stopped
And smiled
And acted
Surprised for if

She knew that my ignorance was a lie
She would not teach me

And what she taught to me
Was nothing that I
Didn't already know

And why
She meant
So much to me
Was how she
Let her feelings flow

And so she taught me
