The Bearer's Choice

Who shall guide them now? Is Gandalf really dead?
At Khazad-Dum bridge a Balrog took him
Under Tol-Brandir's shade, at Parth Galen they camped
No enemies near at least for a while

For in these evil days there is no safe place left
How long shall a heart resist this threat?

The company is in its darkest hour
The breaking of the Fellowship...

A Ring to bind them all
Dwarves and Elves and Men
(Ash Nazg!)
In darkness of Mordor
(Agh burzum ishi...)
Where shadows lie
(Krimpatul!)

To Minas Tirith or to the Cracks of Doom
Which path shall they take at this final stand?
The fellowship waits around the fireplace
The Bearer to face the riddles of fate

For the days are short now in this suffering Earth
Shall Frodo turn back? Shall he face the Dark Lord?

Thus his servant speaks:

Boromir's behaving strange
The light of fire reveals
The grief and guilt that twist his face,
The search begins...

"I need your Ring, you know

I do not desire to keep it
Will you not lend me the Ring?"

Without sense they run not taking any care
Sudden madness fell on the Company
Each path they take divides them fatally
They struggle with fate in fright and despair

As the Ring fades away and the Bearer as well
Sam guesses the move and goes to the boats
