I Will Never Forget

Every moment is fading away
Like another of my prayers
Day by day without change
Pain won’t disappear

Like a sunray in the dusk
I feel that I have lost
My will to move on
In this misery

I see the memories of my past
A splendid dream that would never last
A flower in the autumn wind

When the night breathes your name
I remember bygone days
But of those gentle times
Only memories remained

I will hold on to the few years we shared

A silent bird crossed the sky
