Still Standing Up

Looks like I've been down this road before
The faces look all the same
Another path I've gone already
With my future hanging over a drain
Give me a push when I'm down
I can take all that you got
Because my life has delt some blows already
but I'm still standing up

My back up against a wall
Don't know if I can swim
Is my time running out
Could this really be the end

Time keeps going by everyday
Well you can't stop the tide
You have got to jump up and grab everything
Or you are going to get left behind
Its much easier to look outside
Than it is to look within
Easier to blame the other guy
you know it had to be him

Self righteous, here I stand
And I'm blaming everyone
Got my future in my hands
Its like a bullet in the chamber of a gun
