Endless Summer

I couldn't wait for school to get through
And now that it's all done
I've got nothing else to do
Not having any fun

Halfway through the month of May
I tell myself that it's okay

The summer's gonna be the best one

This is gonna be the best one yet

Try so hard to slow things down
and make the summer last
break away from this old town
and all the summers past

Take some time just like you said
three whole months to clear my head

Teachers and homework seem so far away
and I never want it to end
I never cared much for opening grades
or any the letters they send
