Where Did the Faith Go?

The cross once bright now seems to fade
A symbol lost in light's parade
The prayers once strong, now feel so weak
A voice that trembles, a soul that seeks

Where did the faith go? Where did it hide?
The flames once burning, now divide
The cross is still, the whispers gone
What’s left of the belief once strong?

Did the light leave, or did I turn away?
The cross still stands, but will I stay?
