Psalm 32

Bendito es aquel cuya transgresión es perdonadaBlessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven
Cuyo pecado es cubiertoWhose sin is covered

Dichoso es el hombre contra quien el Señor no cuenta iniquidadBlessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity
Y en cuyo espíritu no hay engañoAnd in whose spirit there is no deceit

Porque cuando guardé silencio, mis huesos se consumieronFor when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
A través de mis gemidos todo el díaThrough my groaning all day long

Porque día y noche tu mano pesaba sobre míFor day and night your hand was heavy upon me
Mi fuerza se secaba como por el calor del veranoMy strength was dried up as by the heat of summer

Reconocí mi pecado ante tiI acknowledged my sin to you
Y no oculté mi iniquidadAnd I did not cover my iniquity
Dije, confesaré mis transgresiones al SeñorI said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord
Y tú perdonaste la iniquidad de mi pecadoAnd you forgave the iniquity of my sin

Por lo tanto, que todo aquel que es piadosoTherefore let everyone who is godly
Eleve oraciones a ti en un tiempoOffer prayer to you at a time
Cuando puedas ser halladoWhen you may be found
Seguramente en la corriente de aguas caudalosasSurely in the rush of great waters
No le alcanzaránThey shall not reach him

Tú eres mi refugioYou are a hiding place for me
Me preservas de los problemasYou preserve me from trouble
Me rodeas con gritos de liberaciónYou surround me with shouts of deliverance

Te instruiréI will instruct you
Y te enseñaré el camino que debes seguirAnd teach you in the way you should go
Te aconsejaré con mi ojo puesto en tiI will counsel you with my eye upon you

No seas como un caballo o una mula, sin entendimientoBe not like a horse or a mule, without understanding
Que debe ser controlado con freno y bridaWhich must be curbed with bit and bridle
O no se quedará cerca de tiOr it will not stay near you

Muchos son los pesares de los malvadosMany are the sorrows of the wicked
Pero el amor constante rodea a aquelBut steadfast love surrounds the one
Que confía en el SeñorWho trusts in the Lord

Alégrate en el Señor y regocíjateBe glad in the Lord, and rejoice
Oh justos y gritenO righteous and shout
De alegría, todos ustedes rectos de corazón!For joy, all you up-right in heart!
