I looked down the line
And I wondered how
All things would come to be

See the old sheep dog
By the side of the track
He's got a sea lion's breath
And his raincoat's cobalt black
A number 13 pup
He came at little cost
I was his master once
Now loss is his boss
And he'll be fine
He'll find his own way out of the light

I'm gonna bury my love

I'll be finding out
What it's worth

I woke up in the night
To find I was mercifully alone
