Leaving You Out

I've walked these halls a million times
With this feeling of endless repetition
And it's hard to argue with things
That you can't comprehend so you let go
Think in ideas and fragmented phrases
Let the subtext take control
But memories are constant reminders
Of a life you used to know, but since let go
I'm living it up?And leaving you out
So I hold my head up
Slowly let this feeling die
And forget the dream that lied to you
It took our life away
So take this pen and write till it's empty
Write the words you felt before
These memories were even in progress
Before you heard of self control
Take it back to these easier days
When life was black and white
But now it's only gray today
