Four Winters

There beyond winter’s frost
Revive all growth that once was lost
Through forests shadowed from light of day
Vitality forgotten within the shades so grey
Long winter’s cold hath passed
Now spring has come at last
Gather warmth within the light
Before four winters shed endless night
The cold will inevitably return
Through the light of dawn
Absent dreams of summers song
Always to awaken here, silent
