Why do we feel we need
the answers for the big questions in life
all it really does is cause divisions and strife
the ones who think that they know the deal
aren't accepting what is real
that it is a mystery and we don't know the history

You don't have to choose a denomination
god doesn't have a monopoly on salvation
how can they be so right
and so many others be so wrong
we're here to enjoy life it doesn't really last that long
why do we dwell on what lies beyond
live in the present and let that be your heaven

What's at the end of the rainbow
what am I supposed to follow
do we really know the laws of nature
how can we be sure

till we don't know where we were
