Hoy el sol quemó mi rostro y simplemente lo dejé arder.Today the sun burned away at my face and i just let it burn.
Otro ángel me dio la espalda.Another angel turned her back on me.
Ella plegó sus alas y bajó la cabeza.She folded her wings and hung her head.
Dios, me diste este corazón pero me pregunto si podría cambiarlo.God you gave me this heart but I was wondering if I could trade it in.
Lloro y me lamento porque no puedo dormir, pues contemplo los fantasmas de mi propia creación.I wail and I weep for I can not sleep for I stare at the ghosts of my own design.

Pasando junto a las silenciosas torres en la noche.Driving past the quiet steeples in the night.
Aguanto estas lágrimas en mis ojos.I harbor these tears in my eyes.
Ella cree escuchar sonidos en la noche y yo lucho por conciliar el sueño.She thinks she is hearing sounds in the night and I am fighting just to sleep.
Y lloro y me lamento.And I wail and I weep.

Las campanas sonarán en la torre por la mañana.The bells will ring in the steeple in the morning.
Y ahora estoy intentando encontrarme a mí mismo.And I'm just now trying to find myself.
Cantar palabras para lograr aceptación nunca fue mi intención.Singing the words to create acceptance were never my good intentions.
Y ahora solo tengo una casa llena de arrepentimientos.And now I've only a house full of regrets.

Rompe el cristal de mi ojo.Shatter the glass of my eye.
Y podré ver esta oscuridad cegadora.And I will come to see this blinding darkness.
Y he perdido de vista todo lo que es real.And I've lost sight of all that is real.
Pues aquí me siento solo. Escribo una novela propia.For I sit here alone. I write a novel of my own.
Y no hay finales felices en esta tragedia.And there are no happy endings in this tradgedy.

Las campanas sonarán en la torre por la mañana.The bells will ring in the steeple in the morning.

A veces casi me siento contento en mi tristeza.Sometimes I am almost content in my sorrow.
Mi barco navega hacia los mares.My ship is sailing to the seas.
Así que agita y envía tus besos.So wave and blow your kisses.
Porque no estoy seguro de volver a casa pronto.Cause I'm not sure I'll be home anytime soon.

He salido a fracasar en el mundo.I've set out to fail the world.
He salido a fallarme a mí mismo.I've set out to fail myself.
Soñaré la mentira de los soñadores de que todo está bien.I will dream the dreamers lie that everything is okay.
Cuando en realidad no lo está.When everything isn't okay.

Él dice que mi carga también es suya, pero no quiero cargarlo con esto.He says my burden is also his but I don't want to put this on him.
Miro fijamente las torres perdidas en la noche. Me siento tan perdido por dentro.Stare up at steeples lost in the night. I find myself so lost on the inside.

Y mientras el viento sopla, se lleva todos los recuerdos.And as the wind blows it takes with it all the memories.
Y mientras la brisa sopla, vuelvo mi mirada a los cielos y espero, esperoAnd as the breeze blows I turn my eyes to the skies and hope for hope
