Armed

I do not know why
I am giving this to you
But here it is;
The number of days left

Instead of an ocean of time
I painted a house
- around you -
And locked the door
Left you at the shore
Until came the flood

The thought of time passing
Opened it for me
I had never known what i need
Or heard what you really meant
By saying that i live a house
That would collapse
By any minute to come
As if wahed away by that same flood

No more can time bring mercy, forgiveness,
Than ghosts can choose their houses to haunt
Or time be disarmed
Like a weapon to standstill

From these shores of time we'll be
Exiled into a place where things
Obey rules laid down
Laws that they are heavy like walls of stone
