Und Gott sprach: Es werde LichtAnd God said, let there be the lights

Und um zu regieren, zu regieren über Tag und NachtAnd to rule, to rule over the day and over the night
Um Dunkelheit von Licht zu scheidenTo divide darkness from the light

Es werde ein Himmelgewölbe mitten in den WassernLet there be a firmament in the midst of the waters
