I needed some place to spend the night
Found a hotel, I read the sign
It said: this is paradise

I rang the bell and somebody cried

I opened up the door

One woman came and she touched my hand
Eyes filled with murder and understanding
I was confused til I realized

She showed me 'round, introduced me to
My own reflection, "so glad to meet you"
Everyone's crazy but no one minds

I tried to thank them and say goodbye
I had appointments and must get going
Then someone yelled "keep him tranquilized"
This is paradise

And so I ran away
And I escaped
