Los cielos proclaman la obra de sus manosThe skies proclaim the work of His hands
Día tras día, expresan palabrasDay after day, they pour forth speech
Noche tras noche, enseñanNight after night, they teach

No hay lugar, en ninguna parte de la tierraThere is no place, nowhere on earth
Donde su voz no pueda ser escuchadaWhere their voice cannot be heard
Sus palabras se extienden por toda la tierraTheir words go out through all the earth
Hasta el fin del mundoTo the end of the world

En ellos Dios ha colocado al solIn them God has placed the sun
Surgiendo desde su gran pabellónRising from his grand pavilion
Como un novio saliendo de su cámara para ver a su noviaLike a groom coming out of his chamber to see his bride

Como un hombre fuerte corre su carrera con alegríaLike a strong man runs his race with joy
Se ríe y salta por el cieloIt laughs and bounds its way across the sky
Nada se esconde de su calorThere is nothing hidden from its warmth
Y del amor perfecto de DiosAnd the perfect love of God

La ley del Señor es perfectaThe law of the Lord is perfect
Convierte y aviva el almaConverting and reviving the soul
Los testimonios del Señor son segurosThe testimonies of the Lord are sure
Haciendo sabio al necioMaking the foolish wise
Los preceptos del Señor son rectosThe precepts of the Lord are right
Deleitando y alegrando el corazónDelighting and rejoicing the heart
El mandamiento del Señor es puroThe commandment of the Lord is pure
Iluminando los ojosEnlightening the eyes

Y el temor del SeñorAnd the fear of the Lord
Es puro, perdura para siempreIs clean, it endures forever
Y los juicios de YahvéAnd the judgments of Yahweh
Son verdaderos y siempre justosAre true and always right

Su palabra es más deseableHis word is more to be desired
Que todo el oro más fino del mundoThan all the finest gold in the world
Más dulce que la mielSweeter than the honeycomb
En su palabra hay advertencia y gran recompensaIn His word is warning and great reward

¿Quién puede entender las profundidades de su pecado?Who can understand the depths of his sin?
Límpiame de faltas ocultasCleanse me from hidden faults
Apártame de pecados voluntariosTurn me away from willful sins
No permitas que tengan dominio sobre míDon’t let them have mastery over me
Y entonces seré irreprochableAnd then I’ll be blameless
Y seré inocenteAnd I’ll be innocent

Que las palabras de mi bocaMay the words of my mouth
