El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación, ¿a quién temeré?The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?

¿De quién tendré miedo?Of whom shall I be afraid?

Cuando los malvados se levanten contra mí para devorarmeWhen the wicked rise against me to devour me
Son mis enemigos y adversarios los que tropiezan y caenIt’s my enemies and foes who stumble and fall

Aunque un ejército se levante contra mí, no temeréThough an army rise against me, I will not fear
Aunque una guerra surja contra mí, aún así estaré confiadoThough a war arise against me, even then I’ll be confident

Una cosa pido al Señor, y buscoOne thing I ask from the Lord, and seek
Morar en Su casa todos mis díasTo dwell in His house all my days
Contemplar Su belleza e inquirir en Su temploTo gaze upon His beauty and to inquire in His temple

Porque en el día de la aflicción, Él me guardará seguroFor in the day of trouble, He will keep me safe
En Su tienda me esconderá en Su lugar secretoIn His tent He will hide me in His secret place
Entonces me pondrá en alto sobre una rocaThen He’ll set me high upon a rock
Entonces mi cabeza será levantada por encima de mis enemigosThen my head will be lifted high above my foes

Entonces en Su tienda sacrificaréThen at His tent I will sacrifice
Con gritos de alegría en adoraciónWith shouts of joy in worship
