Silence speaks louder than words
This is my revenge
You never can escape the lies within

A long time ago I befriended a demon unknown (but I found out)
Dressed in disguise but could tell from a look to the eyes (something wasn't right)
Still I went on unaware good intentions were false (underneath it)
All a facade just a cover to throw us all off

Now I think of those times
How could I have been so blind?
It seems I'd create my own demise
They were lead deep inside
Right behind enemy lines
Ready to shoot to kill

Serpent of fire, no recollection of desire (from the beginning)
Forgive I've sinned, a statement you'd never given (no apology)
Greed was a choice, if you listen you'd hear in (the voice of obsession)
Head hung in shame, I've no pity only you to blame

Now I think of those times
How could I have been so blind
It seems I'd create my own demise

Now the truth shall be known from the start
As we spill the blood from your heart
I should know now the lies never end
But trust and loyalty mean something more
To me than this life you enforce
I think it's time that I finally claim my revenge

Follow into the darkness and fulfill your thriving greed
Just be prepared to die in chain for the world to see
I see an image of a man stripped of humanity
Sitting disgraced with them, I hope they never set you free
