A lie broadcast across a nation

The lie is an atom bomb solution in a drop less ocean

So now we bury postage stamps under a roaring avalanche
Of plastic surgery
And cross out all the eyes of all the slow days of our lives
Evolve at record speed
Ask, Where did all the footsteps go?
The journey's end before we ever leave

I saw a single spotless raindrop
Fall from a single darkened cloud
It joined a single river carving a weaving canyon
Through a thousand feet of ground
And now I think today is water
