A minute and a half you'll never get back

Someone once told me that I way too hard on myself
And I realized I can't be happy unless I'm mad at something else
So I beat myself up and I fell headfirst into depression.

And they say "don't burn your bridges, man"
But I've burned down the Golden Gate by now
All I've got is present tense
But I realized that I have everything I'll ever need in this world

I've got friends I can lean on and I got a girl that I can sing to.
I've got everything I need in this world.

And with those thoughts in mind, I can get to sleep tonight.
And I'll wake up in the morning, I'll be fine.
