leave the distance way back
set the lights dim from now on
for you and me keep shining so bright
and I always knew that it would turn out just fine
perfect seems to fit just fine this time

you always answered
long to hear you say your sweet little okay
can't get enough of what people call fate

perfect is the word that fits me and you
stay gold my love
and the world will treat you really good
