Walking through the forest
I hear the memories
Of the ancient spirits,
Still living in the trees...

Of this splendid land

Once there was a kingdom
Beautiful and free
Mother to her children
Threat to enemies
Wooden castles standing
High upon the hills!
Fearless people living
Defying strangers' wills

For the honoured fathers
Golden mead will flow

Hallowed oaks will grow...

We fill up our horns!
In the odes of Thunder
The foretime returns!

Holy groves were rustling
Full of mysteries
Tenebrous and trackless,
Keeping holy peace
Glorious and mighty
They lived until the day
Plague came out of nowhere
They called it a New Faith...

Bloody times then came
Lots of tears and pain they brought...
