As midnights constellations
Gather from unnatural brilliance
Collecting the pieces
In which all burn

Within death's darkly curtained halls
I've learned to know the desert ways
Whose wrath and hate i've sworn to tell
But sure with patience can bear
Alas, lessening from dazzled sight
Arose, midst the twilight pathways

Disguised as beings of light

Bear the grandeur with a disdainful smile
As the fire now is grown cold
Thought and form crumbling to dust
Seals up all in the rest
Yet what shadows they cast

Released from the pale
