'Cuéntame historias', llamé al Vagabundo;"Tell me stories," I called to the Hobo;
'Historias de frío', sonreí al Vagabundo;"Stories of cold," I smiled at the Hobo;
'Historias antiguas', me arrodillé ante el Vagabundo;"Stories of old," I knelt to the Hobo;
Y él se paró frente a mi efímera casaAnd he stood before my fleeting house

'No', dijo el Vagabundo, 'No más cuentos de tiempo;"No," said the Hobo, "No more tales of time;

'Déjame en paz', lloré al Vagabundo;"Leave me alone," I wept to the Hobo;
'Transfórmate en piedra', me arrodillé ante el Vagabundo;"Turn into stone," I knelt to the Hobo;
