Wings Of Redemption

i don't know where to begin
everyone's words are running through my head
they're crushing my mind
i'm feeling sensitive to all this pressure
caused by the problems of those closest to me
i feel like i need to do something for everyone

my pen is scratching this paper
and i'm afraid it's going to be leaving scars
hopefully they'll run deep
and last forever
hopefully they'll remind you

excuses are no longer valid
they're nothing but tall tales
kept in a book of short stories
we tried everything that we could
you couldn't even be gracious
or show respect to anyone
