Confetti

Ich muss mich manchmal im Zaum haltenI gotta keep myself in check sometimes
Weil ich manchmal wirklich groß träume'Cause I tend to dream real big sometimes
Die schicke Kleidung und die glitzernden AuszeichnungenThe fancy outfits and the sparkly awards
Mein Name in Lichtern, die Leute stehen Schlange an den TürenMy name in lights, the people line up at the doors
Aber ich muss daran denken, es Schritt für Schritt zu nehmenBut I gotta remember to take it one step at a time

Denn die Leute scheinen zu denken'Cause people seem to think
Dass du glücklicher bistThat you'll be happier
Sobald du ganz oben bistOnce you reach the top
Wirst du alles habenYou'll have it all
Aber ich lebe für den MomentBut I'm livin' for right now
Denn was, wenn morgen nie kommt'Cause what if tomorrow never comes
Ich warte nicht, ich warte nichtI'm not waitin' I'm not waitin'
Auf das Konfetti, das fälltFor the confetti to fall

Ich kann nicht einfach rumsitzen und warten, dass mein Leben beginntI can't just sit around and wait for my life to start
Ich kann einen Unterschied machen, ein bisschen Glück in jemandes Herz bringenI can make a difference put a little happiness in someone's heart
Die schicken Autos, das Glitzern und der RuhmThe fancy cars the glitter and the fame
Das ist alles schön, aber es wird nichts wert seinIt's all nice but it won't be worth a thing
Die Liebe ist größer, also stehe ich für die Liebe einLove is bigger so I'm a stand up for love

Die Leute scheinen zu denkenPeople seem to think
Dass du glücklicher bistThat you'll be happier
Sobald du ganz oben bistOnce you reach the top
Wirst du alles habenYou'll have it all
Aber ich lebe für den MomentBut I'm livin' for right now
Denn was, wenn morgen nie kommt'Cause what if tomorrow never comes
Ich warte nicht, ich warte nichtI'm not waitin' I'm not waitin'
Auf das Konfetti, das fälltFor the confetti to fall

FallenFall
Wenn es ein Seil gäbe, das bis zum Himmel reichtIf there was a rope stretching up to the sky
Mit all meinen Träumen ganz oben, so hochWith all of my dreams at the very top so high
Ich bin so gefangen in allem um mich herum, das sich schnell bewegtI get so caught up in everything around me moving quickly
Ich vergesse, jeden einzelnen Moment zu schätzen, den ich bekommeI forget to cherish every single moment I receive
Ich vergesse den Aufstieg, ich will einfach nur dort ankommenI forget about the climb I just wanna get there
Will nicht in der Schlange warten, auch wenn es so klar istDon't wanna wait in line even though it's so clear
Dass ich Geduld auf dieser Reise, auf der ich bin, nutzen sollThat I'm called to use patience on this journey that I'm on
Ich weiß, dass ich lebend herauskommen werde und es mich nur stärker machtI know that I'll come out alive and it'll only make me stronger
Während sich alle auf den Hype konzentrierenWhile everybody's focused on the hype
Werde ich mich fragen, warumI'll be wonderin' why

Wir scheinen zu denkenWe seem to think
Du wirst glücklicher seinYou'll be happier
Sobald du ganz oben bistOnce you reach the top
Wirst du alles habenYou'll have it all
Ich lebe für den MomentI'm livin' for right now
Denn was, wenn morgen nie kommt'Cause what if tomorrow never comes
Ich warte nicht, ich warte nichtI'm not waitin' I'm not waitin'

Die Leute scheinen zu denkenPeople seem to think
Du wirst glücklicher seinYou'll be happier
Sobald du ganz oben bistOnce you reach the top
Wirst du alles habenYou'll have it all
Aber ich lebe für den MomentBut I'm livin' for right now
Denn was, wenn morgen nie kommt'Cause what if tomorrow never comes
Ich warte nicht, nein, ich warte nichtI'm not waitin' no I'm not waitin'
Auf das Konfetti, das fälltFor the confetti to fall
Ich warte nicht, um glücklich zu seinI'm not waitin' to be happy
