You ran so fast / to get right where you are / you look around and wonder why / you ran so fuckin' fast / all the friends you took for granted /
childhood memories all brushed away / just for the sake of expectations / i won't live my life that way / peer pressure is just prophecy /
we are doomed to live out / i won't waste time on intimidation / i don't care if i'm cast out / high school kids just like the year before /
