Racing The Clock

We are living the strangest days of all times
Realms of possibility are opened wide
So am I wrong, to sing my song
While the world is falling down

But I'm trying, so hard
To keep faith in what will happen to mankind, yeah!

The second hand ticks our lives away
But I won't stand still and let it seal my fate

Is it too late?

Are we rushing headlong into self destruction
I'd rather believe
That we are moving along towards great mutation
Still we're racing the clock

At the same time as a rising of awareness
The world has never been in such a distress
So am I right, to search for light
And for answers which transcend time

Well I've tried, so hard
To find out why we'd deserve to survive, yeah!

We're on the edge of a new beginning
But to grab it we must show some understanding
