An Idealistic concept, I came off vulnerable.
A five year age-gap reject, I shiver without cold.
I was the blank wallpaper.
Your harsh brush wanted me crimson tonight.

Intestinal butterflies, mosquitoes begin to breed;
Augmenting both our lives, stagnating hopes and dreams.

Everything has circuitry, why are we so obsessed with the past?
Constantly re-wiring.
Now that you've become someone I used to know...

On the planet's surface. The roots beneath the sky.
She's seeping up the soil to photosynthesize.
I was the foreign species.
Your petals wilting before my very eyes.

How can anybody keep a straight face?
