Is it worth the price
we suffer in the end
was there more advice
lost in the
message that was sent
we can choose to deny
all the mistakes we make
bend
the truth to hide
all the damage that we create
(we destroy everything we create)

so tie a tourniquet around the unsuspecting sky
find a vein and bleed
this hopeless world dry

underneath the lies
we tell the children to
believe
unheard mercy cries
ring out into the streets
we refuse to take
responsibility
yet we bruise and break
with no immunity
(we infect everything with disease)
