People change
It's hard to sometimes come to terms
With the reality that it presents
You cant pick and choose the events that play out in your life
And sometimes it gets difficult to cope

We just can't face inside ourselves we look away
Through these times of struggles and hardships
It molds the people we grow to be
That's why we scratch and we claw
For anything to make us feel alive

Things have changed
The faces, places, and memories
Are completely distorted in my mind
You cant pick and choose the events that play out in your life
