Washing Away The Dirt :
he wakes up and he checks to see if she's still there
he thanks the stars for another day
he builds his walls all around as high as he can bear
so he's prepared for when she awakes

he needs a challenge if he's going to ease the pain
he needs to think about something that'll take him away
he needs a challenge like a shelter from the pouring rain
if he's to balance the weight, the weight , the weight

she's such a diamond and all he wants

but she's her own island and he's the sea
