Ever After Fading

His name might burn my mouth
if I speak it too loud
So instead I'll motion silently
Though...can he see?
His voice can sometimes make me cry
I haven't really figured out why

Something about his softly spoken understanding words-
He can fix the tracking on my world
I'll push him away but I definitely want him to stay

His picture might frown
if and when I take it down
Does love just sometimes go away?
What do I say?
I want to climb this ivied wall
but I'm so sure we're meant to fall

Don't leave, don't put another dream to sleep
I'll use my words, you'll use your charm
and we could both believe

If he called my name softly I would certainly come closer
