I am of their blood, now they are gone
Last of the once removed generation
I watched as breath left her body
She has now found her peace
Mourn the loss life giver gone

The atmosphere is thick with regret
Sorrow is binding us here
The misgivings (are put aside)
My fate is sealed, as was hers
Realise we will all face defeat here

They did not know to read the signs
Will I die with dignity
