Encountering The Unknown

There is a man gazing on his reflection
In the sparkling depth of eternity
Never before has he known this bleak dread,
The fear of facing his chained grim evil

Floating on the border of sanity
Striving with the beast within his soul
He submits to his fatal fate;
His smiling evil won't disappear
Until from his mind he exiles it
In the profundity of distant darkness

His wish is nothing more than
Hiding in the lair of his mind
Frightened by his mighty devil,
Paralized by his reflection.

Never release your evil, HUMAN!
Why cannot you bind it tightly?
You will remain the one you have been
Before encountering the unknown!

Like a hermit, he lives within himself
Waiting for his hour-glass to run down,
His blind and deaf senses let him down,
'till death sets his broken soul free…
